A new examination hall constructed at theMadonna University, Okija Anambra state, has been touted as the largest and longest in Nigeria.
Student Pulse gathered from reports that the hall was named 'Edeh's Ark', an allusion to the Biblical Noah's ark and the name of the institution’s Chancellor, Rev. Emmanuel Matthew Paul Edeh.
The hall is so long that it is almost impossible to see the back end from the front end.
A student of the institution who spoke to Linda Ikeji said the school management hoped to tackle examination malpractice with the record breaking hall.
"The idea is that several exams will hold at the same time," the student said.
"If you are to write an exam in this hall, OYO is your case as students from different levels are made to sit side-by-side.
Madonna University is a private university founded in 1999 E.M.P. Edeh, an Igbo Nigerian Catholic priest.
