Big Win for Nigeria As Davido, Tiwa Savage, Flavour, Clarence Peters emerge Winners @MAMAs 2014

Nigerian talents, Davido, Clarence Peters, Flavour and Tiwa Savage have brought home a total of six awards at the just concluded MTV Africa Music Awards which held last night, Saturday, 7 June 2014.
Durban’s International Conference Centre resounded to electrifying live performances by Fally Ipupa, Don Jazzy, D’Banj, Burna Boy, Sauti Sol, Ice Prince, Sarkodie, Dr Sid, French Montana, Miguel, Trey Songz, Davido, Mafikizolo, Oskido, Tiwa Savage, Flavour, Phyno and Yuri da Cunha.
Davido, Mafikozolo, Uhuru and Clarence Peters were the big winners of the evening at the awards. Quadruple nominees Mafikizolo triumphed in the Best Group and Song of The Year categories, while Davido took home two awards, for Best Male and Artist of the Year.

Superstar artistes and nominees landed in Durban, South Africa this morning to be a part of the fourth edition of the MTV Africa Music Awards.
International artistes and MAMA performers, Miguel, Trey Songz, French Montana and beau, Khloe Kardashian and Marlon Wayans were also spotted at the airport.
Nigerian nominees including Don Jazzy, Davido, Flavour, Tiwa Savage, Dr Sid, Phyno, Clarence Peters also arrived in the early hours of today.

Davido, Mafikizolo To Perform At The MAMAs

MTV Base has announced multiple MAMA nominees, Davido and Mafikizolo as the first performers at the MTV Africa Music Awards KwaZulu-Natal supported by Absolut & The City of Durban (MAMA).
Popular Omo Baba Olowo crooner, Davido and South African Afro-pop duo, Mafikizolo are both tied with Uhuru as the most nominated artistes in this year’s MAMA, notching up 4 nominations each, and going directly head-to-head in Song of the Year, Artiste of the Year and Best Collaboration. Additionally, Davido is nominated for Best Male, while Mafikozolo leads the contenders in Best Group.

Synopsis

The Wizard of Law deals with an old lawyer who has met the reverses and tries at a festive period to impress his wife by purchasing nine yards of lace material on credit at a time when he is penniless. The clothe-seller, Rafiu, take advantage of this opportunity to inflate the prices of the cloth in order to make heavy gain. Ramoni, not having the money with which to pay, gets more and more into trouble. He desperately looks for a court case through which he would get the needed money. 
Akpan, Rafiu’s goat-keeper, gets into trouble with Rafiu and needs Ramoni’s help. Akpna finally outwits Ramoni who was trying to outwit Rafiu. The play ends with Ramoni wining the case but losing the fee. The Wizard of Law is a farcical comedy that will sure unseat and crack you up with laughter.
