Radamel Falcao has returned to Monaco after following the end of his
season-long loan at Manchester
United. Falcao joined United on transfer deadline day in September with the club having the option to buy him on a permanent deal for £43.2million at the end of the season.
However, the striker struggled during
his time at the club, scoring just four
goals in 27 matches, and the club have confirmed that he will return to Monaco. “Falcao is a top professional and a good human being. On behalf of myself and everyone at the club I would like to wish him well for the future,” manager Louis van Gaal told the club’s official website. Falcao’s departure could be the first of many at Old Trafford as Van Gaal continues his rebuilding process, with a number of players are likely to head for the exit door to make room for new signings.
“The transfer period is a process. I know which players have to go and which have to come but you never know if they go or if they come because it will depend on a lot of aspects,” he said.
Standby for likely exit and signing !!!
