After 72 Years Together Lesbian Couple Gets Married

Say what you may, but isn't this true love? Meet Boyack, 91, and Dubes, 90, who met way back in 1947 and have been together ever since then. The happy couple who have dated for 72 years, got the opportunity
to make it marry as gay marriage became recognized and legalized in Britain.
They exchanged wedding vows at First Christian Church, Davenport surrounded by family and a small group of close friends.
Rev. Linda Hunsaker who conducted the wedding, spoke on the couple's union saying;
“This is a celebration of something that should have happened a very long time ago.”
Over the years, the two have traveled to all 50 states, all the provinces of Canada, and to England twice.
“We’ve had a good time,” Dubes said. Boyack added it takes a lot of love and work to keep a relationship going for 72 years.
