NSCDC The Plateau chapter of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), has reportedly arrested five suspected pipeline vandals, among whom are two soldiers of the 3 Armoured Division, Rukuba Cantonment, Bassa Local Government Area, Plateau state.
The state commandant of the corps, Vincent Bature while parading three of the suspects on Thursday in Abuja said another suspect was at large. They were arrested with 164 fifty-litre jerry cans. The officials arrested the suspects following a tip off from members of the public, Premium Times reported. He stated that the soldiers were handed to the authorities at their barracks for appropriate prosecution and would be court-martialed in accordance with military rules. He said the three civilians paraded before journalists would be handed to the Police
